  Calerga announces the creation of Calerga Sarl, a company committed to
  developing and providing the best software for understanding and designing
  dynamic systems.

Lausanne, Switzerland, 19 December, 2001 - Calerga announces today that it became
Calerga Sarl on 11 December, 2001. Well known for SysQuake, its scientific
software with outstanding interactivity capabilities which help understanding
mathematics, physics and engineering and enable the rapid design of
high-performance technical systems; and LyME, an application for Palm OS handheld
devices which borrows the math programming language of SysQuake, Calerga Sarl is
in a good position to broaden its presence among other scientific software
providers.

Calerga Sarl co-founder and CEO, Dr. Yves Piguet, MS micro-engineering EPFL,
wants to build further on the popularity of the existing products and provide new
solutions. In the near future, his strategy will be the following:

- Continue the development of SysQuake. The increased number of customers, such
as ETH Zurich and EPF Lausanne which both have purchased site licenses, prooves
that SysQuake answers important needs in research and education. SysQuake 2 has
just been released.

- Continue to develop and provide SysQuake LE and LyME as free downloads. Tens of
thousands of downloads since their release at the end of 2000, and enthusiastic
feedback, are an asset of potential SysQuake customers to look after and expand.

- Build a community of users, by promoting discussions and program sharing.

- Be closer to customers with more resellers.

- Introduce new products which solve problems in other areas while sharing as
much code of SysQuake and LyME as possible, in order to reduce the time of
development, maximize their quality, and permit the reuse of programs developed
by the users.

Calerga Sarl second co-founder, Dr. Francesco Mondada, MS micro-engineering EPFL,
is the co-founder and former director of K-Team SA, the world leader in small
mobile robotics for research and education. Calerga Sarl will continue benefiting
from his experience and insight in this important field of applications for
SysQuake, and in the market of scientific products in general.
