Press Release 030807
Calerga announces upgrades to SysQuake and LyME. Through
innovative use of interactive graphics, SysQuake reveals insights
into complex scientific problems. LyME brings some of its power
to handheld devices.
Lausanne, Switzerland, 7 August 2003 - Calerga announces today
the update of its main line of products, SysQuake and LyME.
From now on, all Calerga products are based on version 4.1 of the
scientific programming language LME, which has a high degree of
compatibility with Matlab(TM). LME now supports integer numbers
and arithmetic, and extended numerical differential equation
solvers to handle discontinuities and hybrid systems.
On latest handheld devices, LyME 2.6 takes advantage of Palm OS 5
and raises the memory limit by a large amount, enabling
applications which were reserved to much heavier computers until
now.
About SysQuake and LyME
SysQuake and LyME are scientific software applications based on
the same computation core, "LME". On Mac OS and Windows computers,
SysQuake provides interactive graphics which help understanding
mathematics, physics and engineering; it enables the rapid design
of high-performance technical systems. On Palm OS handheld
devices, LyME gives access to advanced mathematical functions and
a powerful computer language everywhere.
Availability
SysQuake 2.5 is a free upgrade for the users of SysQuake 2.
SysQuake 2.5 LE, the free version which shares many of its
capabilities, and LyME 2.6 can be downloaded immediately from
