Multiobjective controller design using multiple models

Abstract

Many control specifications are simultaneously taken into account in a multi-objective approach where structured uncertainty is characterized by multiple models. Both frequency- and time-domain specifications are included for all models. A gradient-based optimization, in the weighted least-squares framework, is proposed. The worst cases are emphasized in order to enforce all the specifications to be satisfied. A benchmark example is used for illustration.
